Small Enterprise Business Awards 2016 Winners Announced

The Small Enterprise Business Awards 2016 have announced the winners of the annual Awards, an awards programme aimed at celebrating the best in StartUps and SMEs in India.

The inaugural Small Enterprise Awards event took place successfully with over 300 attendees on 15 February’17, at the Taj Vivanta, Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru and saw winners in twenty categories.

The Awards Gala night function was graced by Mr. Shivkumar, Chairman, Asssocham, Kartnaka, Mr.R.K.Srivastava, MD, KEONICS, Mr.K Jayaraj, Chairman, Indo-China Economic Council, Mrs. Uma Reddy, Founder President eMerge, Mr. Mohandas, President CLICK, Mr.Nagaraj, CEO, SME OneSource, Mr.Santosh Nair, Fonder & CEO Smmart School of Entrepreneurs, eminent Jury Panellists, KPMG in India, the awards Knowledge Partner and Conscientia Consulting the Process Validation team.

DELL India was the lead Sponsor and other main sponsors were Reliance Commercial Finance, SpiceJet, Vodafone, ZOHO, CtrlS, BSE SME, DBS, Finesse and National Cargo. The Award campaign lead partners were IIMB NSRCEL, NDTV Profit, SME OneSource, Bangalore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, IndiaMart, TradeIndia, Startup Xperts, Text Local, SME Joinup and many other industry partenrs.

Ms. Ritu Gupta, Director, Marketing, India Consumer & Small Business. The SME of the Year Award was M/s Silab Tech Private Limited and the StartUp of the year was M/s Thar Shipping Lines LLP.

The Women Entrepreneur of the Year was bagged by Ms. Sangeeta Dungarwal, Founder, M/s Beyond Squarefeet Advisory Pvt. Ltd and the Young Entrepreneur went to Mr. Ankit Kawatra ( 26 Yrs), Founder and Chairman, Hunger Heroes (commonly known as Feeding India).
